Service Options Summary

Basic Service Features -- Your Device, BT Management

  • Setup and Remote Access: Best practice recommendations for configuration and operation. Remote management uses BT's outbound SSL connection to link to BT Security Operation Centers, which eliminates access to a company's internal systems.
  • Administrative Updates: Weekly updates to default signature sets and deployment of custom signatures upon request. Administrative changes include a set number of routine maintenance updates and system upgrades. The ability to access more frequent updates is available upon request.
  • Communications and Reporting: All requests and alerts are communicated via telephone, e-mail, custom reports, and anytime Web Portal access.

Comprehensive Service Features -- Our Device, BT Management

In addition to the Basic Service Features noted above, Comprehensive Service includes:

  • Equipment License and Operation: BT owns and operates the equipment, including all signature, policy, OS and other software updates, as required to protect the network.
  • Vendor Management: BT manages all vendor coordination, support, and maintenance, including fixing and repairing dispatches.
  • Performance Options: Bandwidth options range from 100Mbps to 2Gbps, with many intermediate options to support branch offices, and the perimeter and core network.
